This year the Utah Health Information Management Systems Society (UHIMSS) has invited two students to participate on the Board of Directors. The purpose is to expand the student base and knowledge of our needs in the organization. For students, there are many opportunities to attend luncheons and social gatherings where a variety of subjects are discussed, including CPOE Implementation, Informatics and how ARRA will impact everyone. These functions are normally free and give students a chance to interact with individuals from the community who work in the job positions for which you are aspiring. Why not join us and start developing some long-term relationships? Make UHIMSS a part of your learning and networking plan! Student memberships are only $30 per year!
